Welcome to the www.chromatography-online.org chromatography directory preview.
We hope to make this is the most complete source of information on all aspects
of chromatography, including equipment, techniques, application notes and
online resources. At the moment we are putting up a few application notes from
one vendor to test the concept and to get feedback from our visitors.
More than 10,000 application notes produced by many chromatography vendors for
GC, GC/MS, HPLC and other chromatographic techniques are available online but it
is difficult and time consuming to navigate each vendors web site to see if a
particular application note exists that would solve the problem the
chromatographer is interested in. We hope to summarize and index most of them
here in a format that allows the user to easily retrieve information needed to
evaluate whether a particular application note is pertinent to their problem.
The purpose of the application notes index is not to reproduce vendor databases.
Instead, it is to provide a rapid, user-friendly interface with which the analyst
can identify an application suited to meet a need in their laboratory. Links to
the vendor web sites and their databases can then be used to download the full
application note, including chromatograms.
In addition to application notes we will be providing information on each of the
vendors as well as an index to the equipment sold by the vendors and used in the
application notes.
A couple features we are considering are:

Peer review of contributed application notes.

Visitor ranking of application notes (recommended highly etc.).
As this will be a major project we really want as much feedback as we can get
