Application Notes
The enantiomers of 3a,4,5,6-Tetrahydrosuccinimido[3,4-b]acenaphthen-10-one, a fungicide were separated by reversed phase HPLC using a Chirobiotic V column and detected by UV at 254nm.
3a,4,5,6-Tetrahydrosuccinimido[3,4-b]acenaphthen-10-one, Astec Application Report 143
3a,4,5,6-Tetrahydrosuccinimido[3,4-b]acenaphthen-10-one, CAS No. 4756-92-7, a fungicide was separated into its two respective enantiomers by isocratic elution in around 21 minutes by reversed phase HPLC on an Astec Chirobiotic V column (250 x 4.6mm, Part No. 11024) using ethanol and hexane (25:75). The enantiomers were detected by UV at 254nm.
In HPLC, ultraviolet (UV) detectors measure absorption of radiation from chromophores in eluted compounds over the range 190-400nm.
