Surfactant DC-194 Silicone Based Co-Polymer by HPLC/ELSD

Application Notes

Surfactant DC-194 Silicone Based Co-Polymer by HPLC/ELSD

The surfactant DC-194 silicone based co-polymer, was separated by reversed phase HPLC and detected by evaporative light scattering.

Surfactant DC-194 Silicone Based Co-Polymer, Alltech Application Note 0015E, July 7, 2000.

The surfactant DC-194 silicone based co-polymer was separated isocratically in around 12 minutes by reversed phase HPLC on a Jordi Gel 500A, 500 x 10mm column (Part No. 100567) using 100% THF and detected by evaporative light scattering using an Alltech 500 ELSD (Evaporative Light Scattering Detector).

In ELSD, the mobile phase is first evaporated. Solid particles remaining from the sample are then carried in the form of a mist into a cell where they are detected by a laser.
