A mixture of four retinoid compounds was separated using a GROM-SIL 120 Norm pH-3 PV HPLC column (250 x 4mm, Part No. GSNP30512S2504) by isocratic elution with hexane, THF and acetic acid 90/10/0/0.01 in around 10 minutes and detected by visible absorbance spectroscopy at 365nm. The compounds separated were vitamin A palmitate, 13-cis-retinoic acid, all trans-retinoic acid and acetretin.
