White Wine with Biological Degradation of Acids

Application Notes

White Wine with Biological Degradation of Acids

Acids, sugars and alcohols in a biologically degraded white wine were separated using a GROM-RESIN ZH organic acids HPLC column and detected by refractive index.

White Wine with Biological Degradation of Acids, Grom Application Number 10085d

Citric acid, tartaric acid, glucose, malic acid, fructose, succinic acid, lactic acid, glycerol, acetic acid, 2.3-butanediol and ethanol in a biologically degraded white wine sample were separated using a GROM-RESIN ZH organic acids HPLC column (300 x 8mm, Part No. GSZH11012S3008) by isocratic elution with 2.5mM sulfuric acid in around 25 minutes and detected by refractive index (RI).
