Alprenolol by HPLC/UV Using Chirobiotic T Column

The enantiomers of the anti-hypertensive drug alprenolol were separated by reversed phase HPLC using a Chirobiotic T column and detected by UV at 254nm.

Alprenolol, CAS No. 13655-52-2, an anti-hypertensive drug was separated into its two respective enantiomers by isocratic elution in around 15 minutes by reversed phase HPLC on an Astec Chirobiotic T column (250 x 4.6mm, Part No. 12024)) using methanol, acetic acid, TEA (100:0.1:0.1). The enantiomers were detected by UV at 254nm.
