The Alltech ProSphere family are a line of specialty packings for life science and proteomic applications. They are silica based (100Å and 300Å) or polymer based. The Size Exclusion columns use a silica based packing phase to separate polysaccharides, proteins, large peptides, DNA, RNA and naturally occurring polymers by molecular size.
Five packing phases are available covering pore sizes from 125-450Å and molecular weight ranges from 5000 to 7 million for globular proteins. Packing phases 125HR, 4µm and 250HR, 4µm are available in lengths of 300mm and internal diameters of 4.6mm. Packing phases 125, 5µm, 250, 5µm and 450 8µm are available in lengths of 300mm and internal diameters of 7.8mm.
