The results given in tables 7 and 8, were inserted in equations (1) and (2) as shown in equations (10) and (11), which allow the corrected retention volumes of the two isomers to be calculated at any temperature and for any solvent composition.

Using equations (45) and (46), the corrected retention volumes were calculated for each isomer at the temperatures and solvent compositions that the experimental values were measured. The calculated values are shown plotted against the measured values of the corrected retention volumes for both isomers in figure 19. This graph indicates how accurate the curve fitting parameters will predict the true values of the corrected retention volume of each enantiomer.
